The compere for the event will be Declan Grant.

“People are welcome to come as audience members or performers and share their work.”

Empoword is held at Youth Engagement Slough (YES) which is situated opposite Robert Dyas.

SUNDAY:

MAIDENHEAD: Talks exploring the answers to some of the big questions Maidenhead would put to God are being hosted by St Mary’s Church.

The church asked the town to send in the top question it would ask God in the run up to Easter. Nearly 500 questions were asked, with the most popular question being ‘Why do so many people suffer so much?’.

The church will be holding events to discuss the six most asked questions. There will be a meeting at the church each Sunday from this week to March 20.

On Sunday there will be an open meeting at the church in the High Street at 4pm and 6.30pm to start off the discussions with ‘Why are there so many religions?'.

There are also weekday evening meetings at the High Street Costa. Visit www.stmarysmaidenhead.org for details.
